This oral history project was initiated by the Frankston City Libraries in 1984. It was sponsored by the Frankston City Council as a part of the Community Employment Programme. Fifty-eight interviews were conducted with local residents over a period of 26 weeks. The Frankston City Libraries also published Fishing, Sand and Village Days which is a thematic presentation of these interviews. |
| This oral history project was a Federation Community Project conducted by the Frankston City Council to commemorate the Centenary of Federation in 2001.
