Oral history of Frankston from 1950 to 2000. Heritage Frankston, accessed 27/05/2026, https://heritage.frankston.vic.gov.au/nodes/view/13449
This oral history project was a Federation Community Project conducted by the Frankston City Council to commemorate the Centenary of Federation in 2001. A consultant, Kerry Watson, was engaged as Project Co-ordinator, and was responsible for interviewing members of the local community and writing the book "Frankston 1950-2000: an oral/pictorial history".
The interviews can be accessed via the link in the Oral History section or via the Person or Family name of the interviewee. The interviews were originally recorded on MiniDisc and vary in length. Certain interviews were recorded in more than one sitting and each sitting has been digitised as a separate recording.
