The 1955 programme consisted of 26 performances by different theatre groups and ran over eight days during the period 28 October to 5 November 1955 at the Frankston Mechanics' Hall. Participating theatre groups included the Swan Hill National Theatre, the Williamstown Little Theatre, the Old Scotch Collegians Dramatic Society and the Northcote Dramatic Society.
