The 1954 programme consisted of 29 performances by different theatre groups and ran over ten days during the period 27 October to 6 November 1954 at the Frankston Mechanics' Hall. Participating theatre groups included the Echucha Drama Group, the Mornington Church of England Fellowship Players, the Mercury Players and the St Albans Little Theatre. The competition was adjudicated by Mr A.
