TitleAssociated Equipment Company (AEC) Railmotor 10 - FrankstonDescriptionThe Victorian Railways operated AEC Railmotors on rural branch lines between 1922 and the early 1950s. They provided passenger services on lines where low passenger numbers did not justify the expense of operating a steam-hauled train. This AEC Railmotor No. 10 operated on the Frankston to Mornington line. Powered by a 45-horsepower petrol engine, it accommodated 10 first-class passengers and 22 second-class passengers.
